EviePrivacy Policy

Evie measures how AI assistants and search engines answer the questions your buyers ask. This policy explains what we collect, why, who processes it, how long we keep it, and the rights you have. Evie by BIG ("Evie", "we", "us") is operated by an independent sole proprietor based in California, USA. For any question about your data, or to have it deleted, email contact@askevie.io and you will get a reply from a person.
1. What we collect
- Form requests: your name, work email, brand, website, market and the questions you type into the free check or plan request form on askevie.io, plus the time, your IP address and the country it suggests (used for security).
- Client details: contact names and emails, company details, the brand and competitor lists and questions we track for you, approvals and comments on the Actions tab, and the dates of runs and rechecks.
- Collected answers: the text AI assistants, search engines and video platforms return to our questions, with the sources and public creator names they cite. These are about brands and public web content, not about you.
- Payments: for card payments, Stripe processes your card; we see the amount, status and a Stripe customer ID, never full card numbers. For USDT payments, the sending wallet address, network, amount and transaction ID, which are public on the blockchain.
- Technical: server and security logs (IP address, browser type, time, page requested). We use no advertising or tracking cookies. Cloudflare Turnstile checks that form submissions come from a person; it may set a cookie or read browser signals for that purpose only.

3. AI processing
To measure your visibility we send the questions on your list, written in the local language, to AI and search providers. These questions name products and categories, not people. To draft fixes, we send your brand facts and the gaps found to an AI model (Anthropic Claude). We don't send your contact details to any AI provider.
4. What we never do
- We never sell or rent personal data, or use it for advertising.
- We never post, publish or send messages on your behalf.
- We never add you to a newsletter without asking.

Some of these providers are outside your country. Where the law requires it, transfers are covered by appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses.
6. How long we keep it
- Form requests that don't become clients: up to 12 months, or until you ask us to delete them.
- Client details, reports and stored answers: for as long as you are a client and 24 months after, so before and after comparisons stay possible, unless you ask us to delete them sooner.
- Billing and payment records: as long as tax law requires (usually 7 years).
- Server logs: up to 30 days.
7. Security
Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS). Dashboard access uses an admin login or private client links, which we can replace at any time. Access to production systems is limited to the people running Evie. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach affects your data, we will tell you as the law requires.
8. Your rights
Wherever you live, you can ask to access, correct, export or delete your data. Depending on where you live you may also have the right to object to or restrict processing and to complain to a data protection authority.
- California residents (CCPA/CPRA): you can request to know, delete and correct personal information. We do not sell or share personal information for cross context behavioral advertising, and we won't treat you differently for exercising your rights.
- EU/UK residents (GDPR): the rights above, plus portability and objection to processing based on legitimate interests.
To make a request, email contact@askevie.io. We reply within 30 days and may need to confirm your identity.
9. Children
Evie is a business service and isn't meant for anyone under 16. We don't knowingly collect their data.
10. Changes
We'll post updates here and change the date above. For material changes we will email active clients before they take effect.
